E PERFORMANCE highlights
Because we know what we are doing. We have combined many years of experience racing at the very top level and applied it to our E PERFORMANCE models. From entirely new drive control strategies to Formula 1 technology in our performance hybrids. High performance and power delivery are paramount here, and our E PERFORMANCE models bring both from the race track to the road.
Top athletes: the performance hybrids are powered by the renowned AMG four-cylinder and V8 engines (M 139 and M 177). Thanks to electrification, both combustion engines are integrated even more efficiently into the hybrid drivetrain. Maximum system output of up to 620 kW (843 hp), torque of up to 1,470 Nm and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds.
Lightning-fast gear changes and high torque: depending on the vehicle design, the performance hybrids use the 9-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT-9G or TCT-9G transmission. Together with the proven AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive, the transmissions are designed for a maximum combustion engine torque of up to 900 Nm.
Performance even when braking: you can rely on our AMG high-performance ceramic composite braking system in any extreme situation — even after several consecutive hard stops. Despite the large composite ceramic discs, it is lighter than conventional braking systems. And it is a visual highlight, too. Typically AMG.
The electric drive unit is one of the two central elements of the hybrid drivetrain. It manages the interaction between the differential, the transmission and the electric motor. With an electric motor of up to 150 kW (204 hp), the electrical energy from the battery is converted into mechanical energy. The cooling system prevents overheating even at maximum load.
For ideal traction at all times: optimal distribution is needed to convert high torque into propulsion as effectively as possible. The electronically controlled limited-slip differential constantly monitors wheel torque. This makes it possible to prevent or delay ESP® intervention, giving you even more dynamism in corners.
This is the world's first series-production engine with turbocharging by an electric exhaust gas turbocharger. The new form of turbocharging provides instant response across the entire rev range. This delivers even more driving dynamics while increasing efficiency.

We have never built a car as close to Formula 1 as this two-seater super sports car. From the E PERFORMANCE hybrid technology derived from Formula 1 to the carbon-fibre monocoque and pushrod suspension, the hypercar offers a unique set of technologies. Let's go!

The Formula 1 genes of the Mercedes-AMG ONE are evident not only in its performance, but also in its unique, muscular and aerodynamically optimised design. The roof air intake that flows into a vertical fin, the Formula 1-style exhaust and the unique paintwork all point to the world of racing. For one reason only: to optimise performance and driving pleasure.
The minimalist interior concept follows the idea of using authentic Formula 1 technology on the race track and on the road: Formula 1 for two. AMG racing seats integrated into the carbon-fibre monocoque provide the ideal seating position, a Formula 1-style steering wheel with sporty controls provides ideal handling, and the displays provide information and overview.
Forget best-in-class figures — the Mercedes-AMG ONE goes even further with an E PERFORMANCE hybrid powertrain featuring a 1.6-litre V6 engine and four electric motors. The engine with electrically driven exhaust gas turbocharging is based on an active Formula 1 powertrain. As a result, the powerful hybrid reaches a maximum output of 782 kW (1,063 hp) and a top speed of up to 352 km/h. Optional magnesium wheels and a unique aerodynamic concept help increase performance.
Vision AMG design
The Vision AMG design study opens up exciting prospects for an electrified future with AMG Driving Performance. Beneath the distinctive lines of the four-door design lies the exceptional and fully independent AMG.EA platform. Currently being developed in Affalterbach for the all-electric performance models of the future, this platform highlights entirely new solutions for electric mobility.
The illuminated signature vertical louvres and three-dimensional contour emphasise the futuristic look of the Vision AMG.
Each of the three LED elements forms a stylised three-dimensional Mercedes star as the distinctive light signature of the headlamps.
Silver paintwork with a star pattern, exterior carbon fibre, the AMG logo and coloured elements are a direct reference to the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1 team.
The sloping edge at the rear that breaks the airflow is framed by a characteristic light strip that allows different lighting settings.
